Almehanya for Real Estate Investments and Housing, Almehanya for short, is a public shareholding limited liability company (PLC) listed in the Amman Stock Exchange (ASE). Almehanya was established in Amman in 2007 with a capital of JD 55 million, to work in accordance with Islamic Shari’a in real estate and financial investment, mainly in Jordan and the Arab world.
Almehanya applies in its activities the latest financing and investment techniques to realize the highest returns for shareholders through financing and implementing projects that address the real estate needs (housing, office space, and related services) of a large section of society, namely the middle income group. These projects are engines for economic growth that contribute to enhancing real prosperity in society, while remaining attentive to corporate social responsibility.
Almehanya’s Founding Assembly consists of 1,200 founders that include a number of leading Jordanian and Arab organizations such as the Jordanian Professional Associations, Muzon Real Estate Company, Arab East Investment Company, and the Islamic International Arab Bank. Almehanya is the largest Jordanian company in the number of founders, which reflects the high level of public confidence that it enjoys.
We have chosen the name “Almehanya” (meaning “professional”) to highlight our commitment to applying the highest professional standards in all our investment and construction activities. Main Activities
Almehanya offers all services related to real estate which includes all types of land and buildings, real estate management, real estate development, establishing companies, and investing in companies with different objectives.
Almehanya’s real estate development work includes design and execution of comprehensive real estate projects which combine quality and optimal prices that suits the targeted segment. These projects include housing and tourism projects, as well as industrial and commercial complexes.
Real estate management, which is Almehanya's most important activity after development, includes supervision of buildings, buying, selling, leasing, maintenance and upgrading all types of property with high efficiency.
Almehanya also provides other services such as importing, exporting and re-exporting all types of equipment, machinery, and materials needed for construction and real estate projects.
